FEATURESįor those that have used Affli’s xCT Add-On, xCT+ expands the functionality of its predecessor. It is superior to the default combat text because xCT+ organizes incoming healing, incoming damage, and outgoing damage/healing into their own frames, while minimizing spam. Overall, xCT+ is a replacement for Blizzard’s scrolling combat text. That is why, introduced in version 3, you can now configure all settings while in-game. I was happy, just in the default state my new addon was a LOT better than the original. After installing via the Curse Client I loaded up Warhammer and, POW right in the face I had that same old familiarity I had from all that time playing WoW. It strives to be as minimalistic as possible while maintaining ease of use. This is the official port for Warhammer Online of SCT scrolling combat text from WoW. XCT+ is immensely based off the add-on xCT by braindump (aka Affli). I hope you all are having fun in the Shadowlands!Ĭreated for optimal performance in the toughest fights, a rugged combat text add-on is finally ready to be put to the test! OVERVIEW Shadowlands Players! Please note that I’m not an active player and if you don’t report issues they won’t be fixed. It would have been my choice, but unfortunately there doesn't seem to have any kind of animations, which for me is quite bad (it's basically a combat log chat window, pretty much).Dandruff-xCT+4.1.0(6.1.0-6.2.0PTR)-BETA beta xCT+ - by far the most lightweight in terms of resource usage (it's like 20 times lower on CPU usage vs MSBT). Update status: always up to date, very frequent updatesģ. Also in terms of text coloring, it's different than MSBT so I will have to get used to it (Parrot uses same color for an entire line of text, while MSBT was using different colors for different words or values in that line of text). Found it to offer plenty of customization, but despite offering several animation styles, I've yet to find one similar to MSBT's. Which is still high overall, but ofcourse, half than MSBT means it's better. Parrot 2 - very customizable, from my measurements, the processor usage is half of the MSBT's. Personally I've been using this for years and I'm sad that I have to replace it now due to being so bad on resource usage now.Ģ. In Legion is plagued with absurdly high processor usage due to the lack of updates/fixes from the author. MSBT - very customizable, was the go to choice. From my testing (now in Legion), I'd describe these top 3 SCT addons as follows:ġ. Few months old reply, but found this via Google search.
